Shira Raviv Schwartz is an educational advocate and intervention specialist who has taught elementary school for more than 20 years. She is a certified OG reading specialist in SLANT, instructs using Structured Word Inquiry and has completed national special education advocacy training. Shira has a unique understanding of where children need to be academically, behaviorally and emotionally and is exceptionally intuitive in advocating to support families with special needs children. She coordinates the North Shore Awareness Network which organizes speakers on topics including ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety in Children, IEP's/504's, Assistive Technology and Executive Function. Shira is also the mother of 3 children, all of whom have either an IEP or 504 plan giving her added experience and insight.
