Celebrate joy, heritage, and culture this holiday season with Chicago’s very own Oba William King. All ages are welcome for this fun, interactive program which will include a drumming presentation!
Oba is a touring artist with past performances including The John F. Kennedy Center, The International Storytelling Center, The Portland Storytelling FRestival, The George HW Bush Presidential Library, and at Apolydaho Village in Benin, West Africa. He is an Illinois Arts Council Fellowship recipient in traditional Folk Arts, a student of Oscar Brown Jr, Kelan Phil Cohran, Okoro Harold Johnson, and Dr. Margret Burroughs.
