As the busy holiday season approaches, we may be challenged with shorter days, busier schedules and a never-ending to do list that can leave us feeling exhausted.
This class will address the importance of self-care with a gentle yoga practice to stimulate new energies in our bodies. We will also focus on the calming nature of breath awareness and introduce mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress and promote well-being. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Judy Roin is a Registered Yoga Therapist with 25 years of teaching Experience. She has speciality certifications in Accessible Yoga, Yoga for Healthy Aging, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. She currently teaches group and private classes, and also works with Family Services of Glencoe and the Cancer Wellness Center in Northbrook.
