Being a parent or sibling of an emotionally challenged child can present many obstacles. Whether is its ADHD, learning issues, depression, anxiety or dysregulation, building a family dynamic around our challenging children can be extremely stressful and anxiety provoking. Come learn strategies and ideas to learn to support yourself and your family.
Susan Millner is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with adults, couples, and families. She is passionate about working with parents and families of children with special needs and/or medical issues. She also has a special interest in mood disorders, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, grief and relationship concerns. Susan uses a variety of evidenced based practices with a specialty in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
