This is a stressful time, so we’re just discussing one short story--but it’s not an exaggeration to say it’s one of the best short stories ever written. Published in 1842, the poignant and surreal story of a Russian bureaucrat and his coat has been so influential that Dostoevsky once said, “we all came out of Gogol’s ‘Overcoat.’” Register for Zoom link.
