Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, one of the country’s leading antiracist voices, #1 New York Times bestselling author, National Book Award winner, and historian, will discuss his book, How To Be An Antiracist with the Deerfield Public Library and ten other participating libraries on Monday, November 9 at 6 p.m. on Zoom. Dr. Kendi’s book asks us to think about what an antiracist society might look like and how we can play an active role in building it. An essential book for anyone who wants to go beyond an awareness of racism to the next step of contributing to the formation of a truly just and equitable society. Register through Zoom.
