Classic Hollywood has achieved a wide variety of iconic scenes that simply take our breath away. Join Film Historian Annette Bochenek for a presentation about how some of classic Hollywood's most memorable movie scenes were developed, approached, and accomplished.
The program will include a multimedia presentation consisting of photos, video clips, and captivating stories. Dr. Annette Bochenek is an archivist, professor, film historian, and avid scholar of Hollywood’s Golden Age. She manages the “Hometowns to Hollywood” blog, in which she profiles her trips to the hometowns of classic Hollywood stars. She has been featured on Turner Classic Movies and is a regular columnist for Classic Movie Hub. Her articles have also appeared in Turner Classic Movies Backlot, Silent Film Quarterly, Nostalgia Digest, The Dark Pages Film Noir Newsletter, and Chicago Art Deco Society Magazine.
