Embark on an interactive mission to explore Chicago's neighborhoods with author of Chicago Scavenger, Jessica Mlinaric. Jessica invites you to decipher clues and track down photos leading you to little-known museums, vibrant public artworks, nature areas, overlooked historical markers, charming cafes, architectural oddities, and more. Come test your knowledge and connect with the city like never before! *Please note: this is NOT a field trip.
Jessica Mlinaric is the author of Chicago Scavenger and Secret Chicago: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure. Her writing and photography covering culture and travel has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, GQ, The Architect's Newspaper, Chicago Magazine, and more. Jessica founded urbnexplorer.com in 2010 to share stories that inspire the culturally curious traveler. She lives in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood with her husband, Brett, and their cat Zelda.
