Award-winning young adult author Sara Fujimura teaches participants how to find the “Universal Specific” of their story. A workshop for all kinds of storytellers!

If you boil them down to their base parts, there are only seven stories in the world. Award-winning young adult author Sara Fujimura teaches participants how to find the “Universal Specific” of their story. That sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s the way to write stories that are fresh and unique, yet somehow large, diverse populations can connect with them. Whether you write novels, screenplays, plot-heavy video games, or just want to level up your next D&D campaign, this workshop is for all kinds of storytellers. Participants will also learn the Universal Specific Formula so they can succinctly answer the “What’s your story about?” question with confidence and clarity.
