This workshop is a perfect place to learn the basics of how to do improv. The members of the Ghost Rats will take you through various games that focus on learning character motivations, body movements, object work, and collaborative listening in a fun-filled, welcoming environment.
Ghost Rats is a Chicago-based improv comedy team that started after meeting through classes. Team members are: Renée Millette, Tom Hoffman, Kate Wiseman, Jack Lewis, Babel Barm, and Troy Schaeflein. They focus on long-form improv and were voted Chicago Reader's Best Improv/Sketch Comedy Troupe of 2022. They can be seen performing all over town, and host a variety show at the Bughouse Theater called Date Night with the Rats.
