Meet the people, places and activities that shaped the legendary author who courted life-threatening adventures and glamorous friends while writing articles, novels and short stories that captivated the world.
This session begins with Hemingway’s birth and early influences in Oak Park, Illinois and then moves to Hemingway’s adventures and experiences in Kansas City, Italy, France, Spain, Key West, Florida, Cuba and Sun Valley, Idaho and is enhanced with rarely seen photos and excerpts from Hemingway’s personal letters to parents, wives, children and friends
